He should have taken the UK assistant coach job for $650,000/year.

He would have helped us land Wiseman. We'd all get to celebrate a national title together in April. Everyone would be happy.

But nooooo. Penny had to have it all. He had to attempt to ascend above the mountain of the most high.

And now he's been cast down among the destitute, his name now becoming a scandalous byword for generations to come. He is the Lucifer of the college basketball world, and his fate is sealed.

He’s a cocky little feller ain’t he? Hahaha. He was sure acting like he wanted a question about the game or anything else. Lol I bet he cussed all the way to the locker room. Good stuff!

Penny wanted to play tackle football with the big boys down at the vacant lot.

Now that he finally got his chance, he's walking home with a few teeth missing and a dislocated shoulder.

Would wiseman be eligible at UK with hardaway as an assistant? I know the focus is on penny ties to being a booster but it would be sketchy to have a coach who gave a player 12 grand. Idk honestly penny did far more than the 12 grand that’s the tip of the iceberg. The rest is probably in gold chains and cash.

Penny looks like a defeated man

He looks like a dude that thought he could win an NCAA title, and has quickly come to the realization that the only title he’s winning this year is in the NIT.

And Wiseman would have been declared ineligible at UK. His family received $11,500 in impermissible benefits regardless if it was from a booster like Penny.

Discrimination baby. They do nothing to Kansas and Arizona for doing far worse than Hardaway did, that is flat out discrimination, which is against the law in this country. Memphis going to take nc aa to court, and the ncaa is scared to death of this. The discrimination play is the way to go. The way a lot of people on this board react to Hardaway, you must be scared to death of him, if you weren't you wouldn't keep saying over and over how bad he is. If a judge says Wiseman can play, he can play. The ncaa may think they are untouchable, but when these schools start taking them to court they are going to find out they are not untouchable at all. This is what the ncaa is scared to death about, that is why they acted so quickly on this one..

Scared to death baby. Kentucky is definitely scared to play the Blue Blood Memphis. The team with how many National Championships? Oh I forgot. The number is zero.

If he using these tactics now then I can’t wait to see how he recruits to Memphis from here on out. And I believe James isn’t the only one just the only one that got caught. I bet there are other aau players on the roster that he coached.

if i were going to guess i would say that he would have had to sit 9 games and repay the money
that may still happen
