Can't stand Allen and the foul under the goal was absolutely an electable foul.

The one that happened off the screen was a massive flop, however. Grant doing his typical **** and grabbing to invoke the defender into doing something that will draw a foul.

As much as I hate Allen, I really really hope they don't let the biggest flopper in the game to do this crap in the NBA.
Williams flopped. But Allen went at his head, in the angle from under the basket.
Williams will get his once the season starts, the other players will just laugh at him and he will stop

God ain't that the truth. The way they rallied around his ******** and defended, excused and enabled him is pure Duke.

He really is the embodiment of them. Sure he's pretty good, but at what cost? And they think everyone just hates them because they're good.

This is the best description i've ever read on how i feel about duke in general. there's always a right way and wrong way to do things. i firmly believe duke chooses the wrong way.

Don’t always like Dan Dakich, but he has some great commentary here.

Thanks for posting the video because I did not get to see the game. Like most of you I can not wait until someone slaps the crap out of this kid. Makes me wonder what kind of upbringing he had at home and what his parents think of the way he acts. Dankich was wanting the kid kicked out on the 1st foul.

It’s times like this that I miss the old NBA. This kid would have already had his *** handed to him three times. Probably would have only taken one though, and he would have straightened up. Today’s NBA, these guys are too worried about how to draw a foul that doesn’t exist, or what short pants to wear at the next post game interview.

In my book, the stereotypical "frat boy" (or girl) is one of the worst human beings, character wise, that exists - with traits such as a shocking level of entitlement, personality running the gamut from extreme narcissism all the way to sociopathological, gleefully bullying in all endeavors whenever an opportunity exists, delusions of grandeur and an unmoored belief of natural superiority. And my impression of Duke under Coach K has always been "Frat Boy U." That's a way too broad generalization, and it's obviously wrong and not fair to paint everybody involved with the program with that taint; but the program as a whole has sure given off that vibe to me for a long time - most notably with Laettner (solidified by the things people have always said about him going all the way through today) and now Grayson Allen. And I think it starts with Coach K - who learned at the feet of one of the biggest a**-holes in existence in Bobby Knight.

Dakich ripped him. The other announcer did as well talked about him picking up in pro ball where he left off at Duke.
Not even. He can't even play NBA half-arsed defense. He gets beat so he can only act like a 2 uear old. He's got no business in the league. If Dak wants him out of the game, well, that's something.

Man, I didn't even realize that both fouls were back to back as well! All within what, 30 seconds of game time. Ridiculous. I'll echo everyone else here, by saying that Dakich was great on this call. I honestly like him on any broadcast.

Hey Duke fans, keep telling me about the family and the “Duke Way”. The dude is just an *******.

Oh, it was Grant Williams he fouled. Perfect.

I’ve always hoped he’d get decked by DeMarcus Cousins in the league. I’m so sorry to report it appears he’ll never even be good enough to make it to that point in his career.

Just another entitled punk from that school. It's no accident they are this way. It's taught. Their whole program is full of hypocrisy. The head fraud is vomit inducing.

Too bad Laimbeer, Mahorn, Ewing, Rodman, etc aren’t around anymore.

No but Grant Williams may be the closest to those guys in the coming years. He is kicking *** and taking names in summer league so far. Smarter than them too, he knows that getting a punk like Allen ejected is better than punching him and getting ejected himself.

Like a parent who never disciplines a child, I am not just wearing my blue tinted glasses to lay some of this on K. What was K's response when Allen did this during a number of college games? Often nothing, and after one serious situation that drew a lot of media attention, K's response was to suspend Allen for one meaningless game against a weak opponent. I am not excusing Allen by saying this as ultimately he is the one with the inappropriate behavior. But, when your hall of fame coach teaches you that this behavior has no real consequence, well what lesson was therefore taught?

I didn't explain myself well there. What I was trying to say was the other announcer was implying that Grayson was bringing his old nasty habits to the league just as he did at Duke. I knew I didn't type that clear enough late last night.

It was better than great, it was some incredible commentating. Idc what anyone says, I love Dakich. Dude is the best in the business. I absolutely love it when he calls out duke and doesn't give two ***** nor a ****. He's a straight shooter and the best in the game IMO.

I'm not suggesting I'd condone (nor am I denying it!), but I am surprised he hasn't gotten smashed by an opposing player yet.
It will happen eventually.

Smart of Grayson to do this to one of college basketball's biggest drama queens. Grant William's is more concerned with flipping than standing his ground.
You're an idiot who certainly doesn't know anything if you condone this kind of action by Grayson, even if Grant embellished the first call somewhat. Listen to what the announcers think of Grayson's action. They did not say in any way William's initiated an inappropriate screen in either calls.

Im trying to understand where this guy is coming from. I played ball my whole life, obviously never near the level he is at. I can only come to one conclusions that he has truly been raised with such an elitism attitude that everyone around him that gets the better of him in anyway he will do whatever is necessary to level the playing field or gain the advantage. I have never seen anything like him. Ive seen retaliation in every league but they are usually isolated events. He is something else.... truly cant stand that guy.. dont know him but cant stand him and glad he didnt play for us

People talk about Cousins being a thug. Boogie just takes up for himself and doesnt let anyone cheap shot him. He doesnt do passive aggressive things like Grayson does.

Allen will find himself blackballed from the league soon enough. He’s not good enough to deal with the nonsense and backlash.

Dude is a man child. We learned that when he had his temper tantrum on the sidelines at Duke. “Oh but he’s just a competitor.” BULL. MANURE. That’s the mark of an Impetuous, maniacal, near sociopathic, child.

And I lost a great deal of respect for K when his “indefinite suspension” lasted all of a game. No backbone as a coach and put wins above all else. That’s when I first truly saw it.

He’s going to get clocked. And I am reluctant to say, I won’t feel all that bad when it happens. Maybe it needs to happen. Maybe he’s one of those when he has his butt handed to him, he will grow up.

But yes, he’s is the PERFECT mirror for the current state of that university.

On a side note, really? The one time Grant Williams doesn’t flop like a rainbow trout on a dock? Maybe he knew you can’t flop against a master flopped.
You posted that K puts winning above all else. No truer words have ever been posted.... Remember the bathroom bill that became law in North Carolina. The common sense bill that said that men are to use the men's restroom & women are to use the women's restroom. AND THEN, the NCAA announced that until the bathroom bill is rescinded that no more NCAA tournament games would be played in the state on North Carolina. You would think that Mike Krzyzewski who claims to be this strong conservative would have been in favor of this law. But surprise, surprise the ratface hypocrite came out against the bathroom bill. To say that K puts winning above all else, is the understatement of the year.

I had to go check out the duke board regarding little Gracie. Several of them do think that he's a punk and needs to figure it out. Of course, several are pissed about Dakich's comments about how duke enabled him. Ummm what else would you call it?! The kid didn't receive any kind of punishment for the first TWO incidents whatsoever. Then, on the third incident, he was suspended for all of ONE game. If that's not enabling him, I don't know what is. Good Lord, just call it what it is. A spade is a spade!

Kind of funny it was against Williams, fellow flopper.I have said for a while he's going to do this against a man one day and the refs will not be able to get to him in time.
